Omega Scotland Team – Update #3
This week the Omega team in Scotland continued to work with the local churches in church planting efforts. This looked like a variety of things that the Scotland team did to help 20schemes in their ministry.
Abi has been working with a Pastor to create community in the scheme of Govan. This looks like accompanying him as he creates relationships with the people in Govan. They lead community game time, attend community meals, and lead Bible studies. Abi also got to give a Bible to a lady that has been attending the Bible study and share with her God’s word. This woman is an immigrant and has never owned a Bible in her life so Abi felt led to share a Bible she had with the lady.
Anna and Lily have continued to help with Lambhill churches various ministries. They help lead a craft ministry as well as participating in different Bible studies. They also cooked two community meals for the Springburn church and Lambhill church. They have led children’s ministries. Lily has taken charge of building a set for their version of a VBS, which is a Holiday Club. Anna has been helping lead worship on Sunday mornings.
Please continue to pray for them to have endurance and that they would be able to stand firm in the Lord. Also pray that they would meet any opposition with kindness and Christ like character.
