Join other senior/lead pastors for brainstorming, encouragement, prayer, and fellowship. We believe each of our churches will be stronger when we help other gospel-centered churches around us to thrive. Quarterly meetings will focus on leadership topics specifically pertaining to the lead pastor. Cost per meeting includes lunch, training, and free resources.

The Timothy Project provides biblical and theological education. Classes are open to anyone. Some classes offer master’s level course credit through The Equip Network of Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Classes are typically offered in a semester format and will include topics like the following:

Join a Leadership Cohort through The Timothy Project to be a part of ongoing training, prayer, and accountability–all within the context of friendly, supportive relationships. Monthly meetings focus on Christian leadership topics that help young ministers engage in gospel ministry with wisdom and discernment. Membership costs $100 annually and includes lunch, training, and free resources. Registration is open April-August.

The Timothy Project offers internships and residencies in specific areas of ministry (paid and unpaid) under the supervision of a member of the pastoral or ministerial staff of CHBC.

Internships: part-time ministry options for the summer or the typical school year

Residents: full-time positions as part of the CHBC staff

JOB OVERVIEW: Summer Interns work approximately 20 hours/week for approximately 8 weeks between mid-May and mid-August (start and end dates will be determined by direct supervisors). Some intern positions may require travel and overnight stays for camps/retreats. All work will be done under the supervision of full-time ministerial staff.

The Timothy Project partners with and prepares people called to vocational ministry and cross-cultural missions through intentional mentoring and participation in training modules.
