The Omega Scotland team has been building relationships through conversations, meals, Bible studies, and kids’ ministries. They have spent time observing and understanding the culture to minister to the people of Scotland.

They arrived on Tuesday, the 9th of June, after a 24-hour travel day. This resulted in them being very jet lagged, but the Lord saw them through. Please continue to pray for them as they fight off jet lag and adjust to their new ministries.

Abi has been working with a church-planting ministry along with Pastor David. They are working to build relationships with the people of Govan in hopes of planting a church there. In 2006, Govan closed the doors of their last church and has not had a church there since. Please pray for Pastor David and his wife, Diane, as they continue building relationships in hopes of church planting.

Anna and Lily have been working with the church revitalization in Lambhill. Currently, the only people working at this church are Pastor Tommy and his wife, Lorne, who are the only two on staff and are new, ministering to a revitalized church. As such, they are in the beginning stages of church growth and discipleship.

Anna and Lily have been working with Lorne in children’s and women’s ministry. Lily has been helping Lorne with the craft ministry, and Anna will be playing piano on the worship team, as they have never had a pianist.

Continue praying for them as they face a heavy presence of spiritual warfare and addiction in the schemes of Scotland.
