Why is the Leadership Cohort Worth Your Time and Money?
I have thoroughly enjoyed The Timothy Project Leadership Cohort and I have benefited from it greatly. I would strongly recommend it to any pastor or ministry leader in the Jackson Metro Area.
Being part of a leadership group for ministers in general is vitally important for many reasons. These groups help you develop your leadership skills. Teaching and discussion of specific, important topics related to your area of ministry give insight and knowledge to be better equipped as a leader. Similarly, leadership cohorts will direct you to resources to help further your knowledge and skill set. Being a part of these groups is very important for networking purposes. You build relationships with the other ministry leaders in the group. This fosters an environment of positive energy, encouragement, and needed support. In these groups you will find lifelong friends, accountability partners, and fellow ministers you can call any time for advice, encouragement, and prayer support. You can find mentors who have more experience who can invest in you and help you to thrive in your calling. Likewise, you can find younger ministers who you can mentor and pour your experiences and wisdom into them. Most importantly, many of these groups are designed to help you grow spiritually. Reading Scripture together, praying together, encouraging and challenging each other go a long way in your personal walk with Jesus. Naturally, all of these elements will give you confidence and resilience to fulfill your calling with excitement and direction. The people you serve at your church will notice the difference in you as you meet regularly with your leadership group.
Specifically, I recommend The Timothy Project Leadership Cohort. I have been a part of several leadership groups, and The Timothy Project Leadership Cohort has been the most impactful and valuable group I have experienced. First of all, Chad and Jerry are clearly called to this ministry of encouraging and developing ministry leaders. It is evident in every aspect of the Cohort. Even outside of the Cohort, they love to invest in leaders and their churches, providing resources, wisdom, practical steps, and so much more. Everyone on The Timothy Project team has a heart for blessing ministry leaders. Secondly, the Cohort is designed to foster relationships within the Cohort. You become friends with those in the Cohort, and because everyone is local, you can meet with others in the group outside of the Cohort meetings. Third, you receive resources every meeting that are specific to the discussion and topics of the meeting for further study and application. Lastly, the cost is ridiculously low for all that you receive as part of the Cohort, which is a very important factor for many ministry leaders. The food alone costs more than what you pay. The books and other resources you receive cost more than what you pay. And that doesn’t even begin to calculate the invaluable worth of the growth, development, encouragement, and relationships you receive as part of the Cohort. If you are interested in The Timothy Project Cohort and have more questions, I would be more than happy to speak with you. I have been blessed to be a part of the Cohort for 3 years and it has been incredibly impactful for me and my church.
