First Week Complete:

After successfully navigating all our flights and layovers, our team got settled into our apartments and prepared for the eventful week ahead. A few highlights from the last couple of days include a tour of the capital city, two scavenger hunts, grocery shopping, and a game night with our fielworkers! Our language lessons have gone well, and we’re incredibly grateful for the locals who’ve helped us learn thus far. We’ve also done a considerable amount of planning for our upcoming community engagement events, one of which begins next week – more information on that to come, so check in soon!

Please continue praying for us as we pursue God’s glory during our stay here. We can already see Him moving in small ways and truly believe He is working in both the service we pour out and the discipleship we sit under. It’s been an incredible experience, and we’ve only just started!
